Carrion-Cursed Acolyte - Character Concept

Concept: An acolyte that was part of a necromancy-practicing cult. The members primarily used the corpses of dead animals for their purposes, but a ritual went terribly wrong. Now the members are cursed to steadily transform into decaying forms similar to the animals they've used - for this character, she's been cursed to take on a grotesque crow-like figure.
I'd like to expand and explore the story more at some later point.
